Biography
Ryan received his law degree from the University of Manitoba where he completed a semester of study abroad in Hong Kong, and received course awards for highest standing in Torts and Compensation Systems and Advanced Advocacy. Ryan began his legal career as a summer student at Hill Sokalski Walsh in 2018 before joining the firm as an articling student in 2019, and finally as a litigation associate upon his call to the bar in 2020.
Ryan has successfully represented clients before all levels of court in Manitoba as well as at the Automobile Injury Compensation Appeal Commission, and is a member of the Law Society of Manitoba, the Manitoba Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association. During law school Ryan volunteered at the Manitoba Law Journal and Legal Help Centre and as a minor hockey coach for the Corydon Comets in the Assiniboine Park Hockey Association.
