Biography

Called to the Bar in 1980, Bob is involved in corporate/commercial, contract and product liability litigation, including litigation related to employment matters, expedited injunctive relief, judicial review, professional discipline and professional negligence matters, with specialized areas of practice, including media law and sports law.

Bob is a Bar Association Life Council Member, Lecturer for Bar Association and Law Society, Lecturer on Media Law at Red River College, Chair of Manitoba Media Law Subsection, Member of Canadian Media Lawyers Association and Canadian Defence Lawyers Association.

Bob has been lead counsel in over 100 reported cases in addition to many unreported arbitration decisions, as well as professional discipline decisions and sports discipline decisions, and is often quoted on a variety of topics in legal journals and other media.
